Jo Jeeta wahi Sikandar --- my views

This is one movie which I have never been tired of seeing after many watches.

While watching the movie just a few days back I was thinking what is it in this movie that makes me move or makes me see the movie again and again so I am writing this review to answer some of the questions I always asked to myself in search of answers.

The main and the most important ingredient for a movie is its story and with this film too the story is written with so much of reality creeping into it you can identify with the characters here.

There is a Sanju (Aamir khan) in all of us, and there is his big brother we all can identify with, the next door girl (Ayesha Julka) who is in love with Aamir , nearly all the characters are like we all have in us.

The way the character of Aamir khan evolves from being an arrogant and juvenile kind of individual to he being transformed into a man who is ready to take on the responsibilities of his family is truly inspiring as well as stimulating to see.

The climax of the movie is made in the genre of a Hollywood movie but like many others this one is appealing and worth a watch.

The way Sanju alias Aamir khan races with the villain Deepak Tijori is one of the best scenes of the movie , although it’s a bit long then it should be it does not mind you since its highly entertaining and you kind of support him when he is racing on his cycle trying to win the race.

I had tears in my eyes once Aamir won the race in the end and was just so numb I couldn't’t really think of anything else for sometime.

This is one movie I would recommend everybody should see not only for the story but also for the win for human spirit that it epitomizes.

Honey Moon travels pvt ltd ----a worthless watch

I had read Rajeev Masand reviews on the movie Red a few days back where he said that there are some movies which should never be made and i think many people would disagree with me that “HoneyMoon Travels” is also another movie which is into the same category.

I have seen a lot of movies in my life and have seldom found a movie which does not any positive that one cannot take home but this movie was probably just that kind of movie.

The only bright point of the movie is the couple of Boman Irani and Shabana Azmi but you cannot see more of them too as they are woven in a world which does not quite belong to them.

There is absolutely nothing pragmatic about the characters of the movie and the way the movie is narrated you just cannot stop laughing at the person who thought of this weird way of revealing the plot of the movie.

There were moments in the film where I just could not think of the logic behind the scene and was laughing at just the innovativeness of the director like the one where Bobby deol and Minisha lamba reveal to each other that they are both super humans. Of course movies on superheroes have been made and some of them have been really good too but (one example is Krishh) but this one just does not make any real sense.

Apart from Raima sen and Kay Kay who was the best looking couple in the movie and the most entertaining too all others story was told so derisorily and ludicrously that i was left thinking what on earth is going on.

There are other ways too of making a person laugh, see Munnabhai for eg which is what we call the perfect comedy but this was nothing close to that.

Anyway if someone liked it i do not have any hitch in that but for me it was a waste of both time and money and a waste of talents of so many accomplished actors working in the movie.
